Brian and Marya Gruber's Swallow Hill Vineyard sits on a gentle slope above the picturesque town of Ashland. On this warm site, the natural vigor of Grenache is restrained by layers of sandstone and strong afternoon breezes, which blow regularly throughout the Summer. These conditions, coupled with the Grubers' diligence, allow for the fruit to achieve the ripeness needed for a concentrated, full bodied varietal Grenache, our first bottling in this style.
