This is a substantive, structured wine, with a classic profile. Flavors include anise, plum, and mint jelly, and it maintains an acidic backbone which guarantees that it will hold well under further aging. For now, it will benefit from a decanting and a thick steak.

The Ox Block stands in contrast to the Steelhead Run Viognier.  Richer, with more citrus and girth in the mid palate, the Ox Block ages very well over time and compliments rich fare.  The Ox Block is our awkwardly oriented, steep, Estate planting.  At one time, we considered employing a team of oxen to farm this block.

Graciñas: Origin Galician, A colloquial, diminutive and affectionate form of "Thanks". For example, one might say: "Ah! In my refrigerator, there's a delicious and affordable Rosé in a convenient and recyclable bag-in-box from a charming local winery. Graciñas."

This eclectic blend of aromatic white varieties would acompany fresh shellfish or an early evening after a trying day. 

Several years ago we realized that in order to make a significant amount of really good dry Rosé in the Southern French style, we would need to plant and grow for rosé. We selected classic rosé varieties like Grenache, and planted them on their own roots in cooler sites, to encourage more vigor, later ripening, and naturally higher acidity.

This is the canned version of our popular Rose' of GSM, sold in 4 packs of 250mL each.  It's dangerously convienent and delicious just about anywhere.
