The Layne Vineyard is one of Oregon's oldest, planted in 1973. Chardonnay was one of the original plantings, making the 2023 the 50th anniversary of the vineyard.
This is a classic Southern Oregon Chardonnay - existing part way between the rich, buttery style of the South, and the crisper, leaner style of the North. Smooth, subtle, with notes of orange rind and a moderately rich texture.
This is a 3L bag in box format. Each box contains the same volume as 4 bottles, which reduces the carbon footprint, keeps fresh after opening, fits neatly in the refrigerator, and is easier to hide in the recycling.
