Ron Burley was one of the first to plant Rhone varieties in the Applegate Valley, beginning in the early 1990's. Wines from his Steelhead Run Vineyard, planted on deep, rocky soils, have always been among our favorites, showing unique characteristics of dried herbs and lovely texture.
